Hard-working mare? You got it! This mare is one of the most determined, hard-working horses we have at Buffalo Creek. Her name suits her, because a fighter she is. She gets rough and tough with the cattle, and is even the horse we’ve been using the most to deal with the buffalo on the buffalo sanctuary end of the ranch. We needed a horse that was quick and hardy to deal with them because it can be a dangerous job, and Fighter is perfect!
Did I mention she’s also gorgeous? She has amazing color as well. And beautiful movement. Whether just walking in the paddock, running in the pasture, or strutting in the show arena, she’s a graceful and classy mover.
She’s highly intelligent and a very quick thinker. She’s become a favorite of the male staff here at Buffalo Creek, perhaps because she’s rough and touch, and the boss of the pasture. We’re looking forward to having a successful show and breeding career with this mare.
